CGLLEN’s Massive National Youth Week

As part of National Youth Week, CGLLEN is hosting three massive days of fun and competition in Stawell.

Three Days, Three Teams

Across three days, participants (YOU) will split up into three teams and compete for the Game On championship. On the first day, you’ll be competing in a Chub Suit Challenge, the second day hosts a Water Skirmish, and day three is all about your sick dance moves.  Make sure you register (and tell your friends to register too) by calling CGLLEN’s Youth Project Officer, Sarah on 0418 535 478.

Day One: Chub Suit Challenge

(Monday April 3, 10.30am-12.30pm, Powerhouse, Sloane Street, Stawell)

Got ninja skills? Time to show off your speed and agility! Race against other teams in a chub suit (an inflatable body suit) and complete the obstacle course as fast as you can.

Each person will be timed and the fastest combined team score wins the day!

 Day Two: Water Skirmish

(Tuesday, April 4, 10.30am – 12.30pm, Powerhouse, Sloane Street, Stawell)

Time to let your tactical skills shine!

Each team must protect their Team Captain from their enemy’s coloured-water pistols as they make their way around the Skirmish Battle Ground. Capture your team’s flag and bring the flag and Captain back safely to your Homebase.

The Team Captain with the least amount of coloured water on their shirt wins!

 Day Three: Dance Off!

(Wednesday, April 5, 6.30pm – 9.30pm, Powerhouse, Sloane Street, Stawell)

Blame it on the boogie!

Finishing off the three-day event is a dance battle between teams. Slap on some dancing shoes and feel the rhythm as each team has a turn to get in front of the DJ and show off some slick moves to a song of choice.

This is your chance to get BONUS points for your team and try and take the lead. Extra points are given for each team member that busts a move, plus another 10 points if someone wears a chub suit!

The team with the most points across the three days will be reigning champions.

Sound like fun? Make sure you register (and tell your friends to register too) by calling 0418 535 478 and speak to CGLLEN’s Youth Project Officer, Sarah Garton.

This is a fully supervised, drug, alcohol and smoke free event for youth aged 12-25, as part of National Youth Week, and Victorian State Government initiative, run by Central Grampians LLEN.
