Central Grampians LLEN looks back at their achievements.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual General Meeting on May 31, 2018. Central Grampians LLEN is grateful to have members of the community attend these events.
The attendees heard from CGLLEN’s Chairperson Geoff and CGLLEN’s Executive Officer James. The AGM enabled members of the board to review last year’s minutes, to nominate board members and to alter association rules.
This year, CGLLEN invited staff to speak to the attendees about the CGLLEN programs that are run on a day-to-day basis across Ararat and Stawell. The presentation covered the Structured Workplace Learning program, the Bachelor of Social Science, the L2P Learner Driver Mentor program, FReeZA, Engage!, On Ya Bike! and the Thursdays program, as well as highlights of CGLLEN’s big events including CGLLEN Skate Park Day and National Youth Week.
Central Grampians LLEN’s L2P Program Coordinator Amanda also took the time to acknowledge the efforts of L2P supervising drivers who volunteer their time to mentor young people to achieve their driving goals. Mentors who attended on the night received a Certificate of Appreciation. The L2P program is always welcoming new mentors, if you are interested in learning more about L2P, click here.
Full details of all these programs can be found in the 2017 annual report, created by Communications Officer Jasmine. The annual report is available via this link.
