We have an exciting opportunity to work within our team of Youth Officers to enhance the educational and employment outcomes of young people in the Grampians region. The Youth Engagement Officer will work with young people aged 12-25 to encourage active participation in education, training and employment opportunities within the community. The successful candidate will do this by working with key stakeholders, brokering partnerships to engage young people who may be at risk of becoming disengaged from education.
You will use your initiative, knowledge
The position is predominately based in Ararat with the possibility of some travel to the Stawell office. Hours and days of work can be negotiated. Experience working with disengaged young people in an education or employment setting and program delivery would be an advantage.
