FReeZA Photography Exhibit

The FReeZA Photography Committee and CGLLEN staff at the exhibition launch

This Saturday, 9 September, saw the launch of the Ararat FReeZA Photography Exhibition and Competition.

The exhibition was held on the back of a series of free professional photography workshops hosted at Central Grampians LLEN. These workshops saw a number of professional photographers assist, teach and guide young people in the art of snapping a great pic.

The FReeZA Photography Committee developed, organized and implemented the event which encouraged young people from the Grampians region to submit photographs and have them displayed at the exhibition at the Ararat Central Highlands Library.

There were two categories participants could submit to: Ararat From a Youth Perspective and Open Class. Central Grampians LLEN was very impressed with the high quality of photographs submitted by young people in our region, and we congratulate all who participated in the exhibition.

Want to be part of the judging? You can be! Check out our Facebook post here for the People’s Choice Award. The voting is open until Tuesday, 19 September.

Want to see all the photos in person? The exhibition has since been moved to the Central Grampians LLEN offices on 3/5 Laby St, Ararat. Come on down and feast your eyes on the display in our hall way!
