The Pyrenees Grampians VET Cluster and the Central Grampians Local Learning and Employment Network (CGLLEN) were proud to present local students and employers with Vocational Pathways Awards. The awards acknowledged recipients for their outstanding contribution to Vocational Education and Training (VET), Structured Workplace Learning and Australian School Based Apprenticeships. These programs provide pathways to employment for students and support them to develop specialised vocational skills. Students received awards for their achievements in VET and Apprenticeship programs and were congratulated on their maturity and dedication in working towards their future employment.

Sixteen students and nine employers received the awards which were supported by the Department of Education Science and Training’s Local Community Partnerships program. Students from Ararat Community College, Marian College, Stawell Secondary College and TAFE Partnership VCAL received awards for a number of programs ranging from engineering to equine and automotive. The awards were presented by Northern Grampians Shire Mayor Kevin Erwin.
