Numb Production presenter, Alain Goodman aspires to be the best.

What does it take to be another Andrew Denton?  Alain Goodman believes he is on his way to achieve the kind of success enjoyed by the host of ‘Enough rope’ on ABC.

Alain is a Year 11 student at Stawell Secondary College and regular podcaster at LenZone’s Numb Productions.  He commenced his ‘career’ under the guidance of mentor, Simon Marston, who shared his knowledge in community radio while working in Adelaide.

With a strong interest in sports, Alain hopes to become a radio sports journalist and presenter.  To date, his achievements have included interviews with Shannon Noll of Australian Idol fame, Michelle Bridges, of The Biggest Loser, Glen Manton, former Carlton Premiership player and most recently, Richard Colman representing Australia at the Paralympics at Beijing in 2008.  Alain recently completed a week’s work experience with the Geelong Advertiser where he got to write an article on Table tennis for the elderly.

Alain is actively pursuing other leads for interviews.  He does his research on the internet, then doggedly chases for an interview.  Alain’s approach is to dig for the facts while allowing his audience to get to know the interviewee.  Many of Alain’s interviews can be heard on the Central Grampians Local Learning and Employment Network website as podcasts.  Go to www.cgllen.org.au and select podcasts.

The podcasts are part of Numb Productions that run at LenZone! Youth Resource Centres.  Persons aged 12 – 25 are eligible to participate in programs run at LenZone!
