LenZone! has declared 2010 as the year to get involved.  Too often we hear that there is nothing to do or that people are bored.  This year there is no excuse.  There are simply too many good opportunities happening for young people to miss out. 

MUSIC : If you are interested in Music you can get involved with the FReeZA group.  If you are in a band then we want to hear from you, there could be gigging opportunities.  We also have rock equipment that can be borrowed or used to practice at LenZone!

MULTIMEDIA: If Multimedia is your thing we are always on the look out for podcasters, bloggers, twitterers and facebookers.  Become LenZone!s friend (LenZone CGLLEN) on fb and find new ways to stay connected.  Look out for training opportunities and ways to develop new skills.

FILMS:   For National Youth Week in April we will be holding a short film festival.  We want to screen your short film at the event.  You don’t need to a professional.  Your short film can be shot on a mobile phone or camera and can be about an issue that is important to you or could be just a bit of fun.  There are great prizes on offer and even if you don’t make a film you can still attend the screening during youth week.

ART:  LenZone! has great art supplies that you can use and will be holding some design and photography competitions and exhibitions.  Embrace your inner artist or show us your stuff and get noticed. 

HAVING A SAY:  There will be some big events that need some organizers in 2010.  If you like event management and taking the lead then we want to hear from you.  You could get some new skills and your new experiences will look great on your resume. 

If we have missed the mark and none of this is interesting to you we want to know why and what gets you fired up.  Don’t sit back and let life pass you by.  GET INVOLVED.
