The Minister for Youth Affairs, Jacinta Allan, will officially open a new service to help connect young people to further education and training and jobs this Thursday.
LenZone! is a one-stop-shop which will reach out to connect, empower and inspire young people aged 15 to 24. It has been designed to involve young people in positive activities and to support them to stay engaged with education and training, helping them to make smooth transitions from school to work. LenZone! Ararat is a place where young people can get careers information, surf the internet, find a quiet place to study, or just hang out.
LenZone! Ararat is an initiative of the Central Grampians Local Learning and Employment Network and will be a sister site for the Stawell LenZone! which opened last October.
