This articles explains the role and function of LLENs.
Local Learning and Employment Networks (LLENs) are a Victorian Government initiative. They bring together education providers, industry, community organisations, individual and government organisations to improve education, training and employment outcomes for young people in communities across Victoria.
LLENs play a central role in implementing the Victorian Government's post compulsory education and training reform agenda.
The LLENs are based largely on local government area boundaries and membership is drawn from any individual or organisation with an interest in post compulsory education, training and employment within the area covered by that LLEN.
