Technology for Teenagers had received so many donations of second hand computers that the building was overflowing. We had to come up with a solution and FAST! The answer came in the form of some VCAL students in need and a road trip.
On Wednesday the 11th of April, computers that had been formatted and prepared by the T4T group were donated to the Warrnambool Community VCAL program. Under the watchful eye of IT guru Brad and mentor Mark, a mini network was established in the workroom at the Warrnambool Community VCAL building.
Community VCAL Coordinator Anne Murphy and the students were extremely grateful for the donation that will allow much needed access to the Internet and word processing. This is yet another example of the great work of the technology for teenagers program in recycling and reusing technology that would otherwise have been wasted.
