A close one!May 3, 2006 Partnership VCAL students were involved in a fantastic poetry workshop by visiting poette Carol Reffold. Carol was very impressed with the creativity of local students and together they created the following poem which demonstrates their ability to listen creatively and take instructions and develop a great little poem on a topic they plucked from the air.
LenZone! gets creative at Scarecrow FestivalApr 28, 2006 Happening Families participants took up the challenge to create a scarecrow for this year’s ‘Scarecrow in the Vineyard’ festival at Montara Winery, Ararat. For 3 weeks now, Lenny has withstood all weather conditions and will be closely scrutinised on Sunday 30th April when the votes will be counted and the winner announced at Montara.
