My name is Susan Hamilton and I started work at LenZone! in August 2006 as a Community Development Employment Project participant through Budja Budja Co-operative that is located in Halls Gap. Since then I remained on a Host Agreement at LenZone! that was organized through Geoff Wake. The Host Agreement lasted until December 2006. In that time I have learned so much at LenZone! through the wonderful people that I have worked here with. They have been very patient with teaching me a range of different things. Now I am a casual staff member and I completely enjoy the things that I do and I feel really lucky to work with the people I work with.

Being at LenZone! has given me the opportunity to see the good that is done for the Youth in our community. Geoff and I are currently working with Budja Budja Co-operative to create a Youth Group. Which is really exciting.

I believe that being a part of a host agreement/work experience has been of great benefit and is a positive way to get in the working environment.
