Feb 25, 2008 LenZone! Youth Resource Centre in Stawell has been successful in gaining FReeZA funding from the Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) to hold 8 drug, alcohol and smoke-free music and cultural events in Stawell and St Arnaud in 2008/09.

Nov 29, 2006 Friday the 13th and all the spooks were out and about. Ararat FReeZA committee had decided that a Halloween themed night would get every one talking and it must have because over 100 people turned up from Ararat, Stawell and Halls Gap.

May 12, 2006 The first FReeZA gig for the year is coming up on Saturday May 27th at the Ararat Community College Gymnasium. Featuring bands such as The Big United, Your Blue Regret and Arpejio it should be a night not to be missed.

The successful applicant will support FReeZA committee’s in Ararat and Lake Bolac to plan and organise 5 local drug, alcohol and smoke-free events for young people aged 12 to 25 to throughout 2006.

Oct 22, 2005 Headline act The Exploders where supported by local duo Dave and Allen and Hamilton’s Alien Vomit at Lake Bolac’s first FReeZA gig for the year on Saturday 22 October.
Aug 29, 2005 Brisbane rockers Intercooler and Melbourne band The Suits brought their Bird in the Hand Tour to Stawell on Sunday playing at The Blue Room to a crowd of around 80 local young people for Stawell’s second FReeZA gig.
Jul 30, 2005 CGLLEN Partnership Funding of approximately $5,200 has allowed 20 students from Stawell Secondary College and Marian College to participate in the 2004 Kool Skools Programme in Melbourne.
Jun 20, 2005 With a first prize of $500.00 cash the FReeZA Battle of the Bands at Ararat’s A & J McDonald Hall on Saturday June 18 was a hotly contested battle between 5 young local bands from across the region.
