Cans and Canvas in School Holiday Program

Learning about stencils with CGLLEN

We’re at it again and we’re kicking this week of the School Holiday Program off with some spray paint art! Participants could choose from an array of stencil designs, and some even designed their own custom stencils. After cutting and slicing their designs, they attached them to a canvas ready to be painted.

They took the canvases and stencils outside, donned gloves and masks, and started to colour in their designs.

The results were masterpieces bursting with colour and talent. Designs included roses, skulls, bow and arrows, names, hearts and a few custom designs.

What’s next?

Tomorrow is a big day with two activities! The morning will involve a Drone Zone Workshop, which teaches you people how to fly drones and all the rules and regulations they should know about. In the afternoon we will be bringing out the instruments once again for our second Song Writing Workshop! We can’t wait to hear all the songs these young people have written.

The rest of the week will include a t-shirt printing workshop, cooking on the BBQ and a pool party.

Have a look at our Facebook events or our calendar for more information on each of the sessions.
